My partner Paul and I have been visiting Marie for reflexology since July 2006.  I initially wanted to have reflexology to help me relax during my second pregnancy.  From the first time I entered Marie’s room, I felt safe and comfortable.  During the treatment I am very relaxed, both in body and mind and I am able to “switch off”.  Immediately after the treatment, I feel a bit sleepy but incredibly relaxed and my body feels totally rested.  With Marie’s help I had a fabulous pregnancy and birth, and it has also had a positive effect on my own health.  Paul and I would rather forgo a meal out and have a reflexology session with Marie instead!  I have also recommended my family to Marie and they thoroughly enjoyed their time with her.

I have always been a person who has found it difficult to cope with stress, both in the workplace and at home.  When my daughter and son-in-law told me of the benefits of reflexology from Marie West, I decided to refer myself for treatment, although I remained sceptical of getting any improvement for myself.  However, I have been pleasantly surprised.  I have found the sessions very relaxing and the longer term results have been a revelation!  Over the last six months I have had to deal with a great deal of potential stress, including the death of a parent.  Of course there has been pressure, but due to reflexology, I have been better able to cope with the emotional challenges facing me.  I don’t know how I would have managed without the therapy and advice I have received.  Generally I feel fitter and healthier than I have been for many years.

I was diagnosed with Spinal Stenosis, which is where the spinal fluid dries up and it hurt to do anything, including lifting an arm up to hang out the washing etc, this in turn made me depressed and unable to work or indeed carry on.  I gave up the will to live until I had my first Bio-Energy treatment, it turned my life around.  The pain decreased, my agility improved, so that I could stand on a chair, I went back to work and became far more happy and positive.  My husband phoned Marie and thanked her for giving him his wife back, like she was 15 years ago!  This treatment is amazing, life changing; it is like going on holidays and staying there.

I saw Marie when I was trying to conceive. I had been diagnosed with hypothyroidism and polycystic ovaries and wasn’t ovulating. On top of that I had irritable bowel- I think I was a stressed out, overworked 20-something.

Anyway, Marie worked wonders. I was amazed how accurately the reflexology points related to my various troubles. I was taking medication to assist ovulation, but it wasn’t until a course of Bio-Energy that I conceived. I found Marie to be a very good listener and it really helped to offload in a neutral, confidential environment, whilst feeling that I was doing something positive through her treatment.

After having been through two difficult years during which I divorced, moved house, changed jobs and was raising my son as a single parent, I felt quite stressed, and that there was stagnant energy in my body that needed shifting. I had quite strong feelings of animosity for my life's situation that I wanted to rid myself of. I found Marie a very understanding and competent practitioner who used both Bi-Aura and EFT procedures to affect change. She taught me how to practice EFT on myself which I did daily for over a month. She also moved significant amounts of energy around my body when using Bi-Aura (so much so that we both felt significant changes in our respective body temperatures and the room temperature!) After experiencing over a month's treatment with Marie I felt much calmer, more positive, and happier in myself. I feel like my self approval is now palpable, not something I was merely striving for. A side benefit is that I no longer want to regularly wear a scarf when I go outside, which I did before the treatments, as I felt the cold and now don't. I would recommend Marie and these treatments to anyone facing life's challenges and stresses, as a way to affect positive change in a non-invasive, drug-free, productive and gentle way.

Marie was recommended to me by a friend at a time when I was suffering both physically with back problems and emotionally. Although I had been told what to expect, I was still very surprised at the impact the treatment had on me even from the first session. It is a very powerful spiritual experience and I would recommend anyone to try this. I no longer suffer with the lower back pains I had had for years and with regards the emotional traumas I had been suffering, they have now faded into the background and do not seem so important or cause me any distress. I am still using the techniques Marie showed me to energise myself each morning and the CDs were absolutely fantastic, my husband also listened to them with me and found them a real help.

I first contacted Marie when I was at a very low place in my life - I had seemed to lose all purpose and direction after a relationship had failed, but also other deep routed issues had come to the surface - I could see no purpose to my life at all.  I first read about Bi-Aura in a magazine and had read about the benefits of treatment for depression.  I was very open to the treatment and was keen to see what I could get from it although obviously sceptical at first I knew I needed to try something.

I had a block of four treatments, and although I found it difficult at first to say the positive affirmations Marie helped me through this and unlocked the positivism in me.  The treatment itself was a bizarre experience - feelings like my feet were rooted to the floor and my limbs were like lead.  But that said, after each session the clouds began to fade and I started to 'see the light'.  I firmly believe that had it not been for Bi-Aura my recovery would not have been so speedy and heaven only knows where I would be now.  I cannot thank Marie enough for giving me back my life, and although some days are still better than others, my life has improved dramatically and I have started to live again.

Having been to other reflexologists, it was clear from the start that Marie is no ordinary practitioner. Working in a calm but intensely focussed way, she treats you holistically; releasing, unblocking and guiding energies within the body through paths towards a process of natural healing and vitality. There is always a deep sense of relaxation during a treatment but also a strong feeling of tingling movement as if something quite powerful is going on at a deeper level. Although I almost always fall asleep during a session, I leave feeling as though I have had a particularly satisfying work-out. How the two are possible from the same treatment, I have no idea but it certainly works. Plagued with bad circulation, continual fatigue and a potentially life-threatening condition that normal medicine regards as 'untreatable', I would view a month without a treatment with a certain amount of trepidation. Last but not least, Marie is full of wisdom - not just for ordinary life situations but for specific problems both emotional and physical - and can offer practical advice on a level far surpassing the knowledge and scope of an ordinary reflexologist.

I first went to see Marie in 2003 because of severe migraines which I had suffered from for over 15 years. Within a couple of months of regular sessions with Marie, these were under control and had decreased from 2 a month to about 4 a year!! 
 

However, throughout this time, Marie also saw me through three conceptions and two very healthy pregnancies. I think the value of the treatment was highlighted to me by the fact that the later stages of my second pregnancy, when I wasn't having treatment, were particularly difficult.
Through the periods when I was trying to conceive and my pregnancies, I always trusted Marie's judgement and had compete confidence that any of the particular techniques she was using would be appropriate for that particular point in my pregnancy.
  
I can't recommend Marie highly enough, for 4 years not only did she control my migraines, help me through conception and pregnancy, but she has also been my conscience, insisting that I drink more water and work less. Trust me, since leaving Berkshire, I have not found a reflexologist to match her.
