Wokingham based Marie West offers four deeply relaxing and naturally tranquillising therapies, which are used independently or in a specific combination depending on the individual’s requirements. Marie specialises in sub-fertility and enjoys a 65% success rate. She also uses an advanced form of reflexology to detox a patient after chemotherapy to greatly alleviate the nasty side effects of the treatment.
These treatments ease away today’s stresses and strains in a peaceful and therapeutic environment. Marie guarantees a totally personal, individual and unique service to restore a persons ‘Joie de Vivre’.
Marie was trained by the Oxford School of Reflexology in Wheatley, Oxfordshire and is a member of the Association of Reflexology (MAR). She has been practising as a Reflexologist since December 2000 and has a wide and varied client base. During 2007 she retrained in Coronal Zone Reflex Therapy which is a gentle advanced form of reflexology, specialising in; Sub-Fertility and Pregnancy, Cancer Care, Multiple Sclerosis, Men’s Health, Diabetes, Head & Back Problems and Allergies & Intolerances.
Marie trained with Michael D’Alton with the Bi-Aura Foundation in London and qualified in March 2004. She is now qualified to teach and practice Bio-energy. This form of healing is a non-invasive health system that successfully treats the body through the Bio-Energy Field. There is a natural current of electromagnetic energy, known as the Bio-Energy field (chi/aura), circulating in and around the human body. When this is distorted/blocked dis-ease sets in. The Bio-Energy techniques get the energy moving and bring effective results for acute and chronic illness. This form of treatment is also known as energy medicine, involving very little touch and no medicine. This treatment is recognised by the C.M.A.
Marie qualified in EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), MET (Meridian Energy Therapies) and Emotrance with Dr C Elvin in June 2004. This is a quick and very effective treatment used to free up deep emotional problems/blocks, which may have been troubling somebody for years. This can be easily taught to a client so that they can use it at any time they need it. EFT combines beautifully with Bio-Energy to restore equilibrium and homeostatis.
Marie is also qualified as a Reiki Master and uses Karuna Reiki both on its own and in combination with other therapies. All therapies are energy medicine and work independently or together to restore balance and bring about ‘Joie de Vivre’.
Marie obtained a diploma recognised by the CMA, as a Teacher in Bio-Energy in December 2007. She is now qualified to teach this exciting Energy Medicine of the future. She is passionate about her work, the simplicity and the astounding success, which never ceases to amaze both her and her clients.
