What is it?

We have longitudinal zones, transverse zones and now coronal zones to access reflex points in the body.  Working the Coronal Zone plane allows deeper access into the ‘core’ of the body, releasing the patient from longstanding stagnation.  The coronal Zone is an additional 40 acupressure points which integrate into a traditional reflexology treatment.

Energy flow through the reflexes

If you can imagine the energy contained within each of us has the same appearance and structure as a Russian Doll: smaller exact copies inside larger replicas of the same shape.  Seen from above, i.e. the top of our head (or from the soles of our feet), the energetic makeup would resemble a series of concentric rings.  The five zones would still split left and right, but would come out from the core , like layers of an onion.

Energy has the chance to move through all the zones, from top to bottom, from front to back and from left to right.  It is in this third of the cardinal planes that Coronal Zone Reflex therapy works.  Effective Reflexology therefore goes right into the ‘Core’ of stagnation to restore the free flowing life force of positive good health and balance.  This achieves dramatic and powerful results in a relatively short period of time, as stagnation has usually built up over a life time!
